PRR Carmer Coupler Releases
The PRR used Carmer coupler releases on most series
of freight cars built from ca. 1900 until about 1927. 95% of PRR cars so equipped can be modeled
using the parts included here. If
modeling another roads’ freight car equipped with Carmer releases, notes are
included to help select the PRR style that would be most appropriate.
Included
in this package are 8 etched brass operating levers, 8 lift levers, and 8 styrene
NBW moldings to equip 4 freight cars with Carmer releases.
